A Cartographic Survey of Scotland’s Distilling Regions

The first release in the Atlas & Barrel Expedition Series, Whisky Regions of Scotland was designed as a modern cartographic plate for those drawn to the landscapes behind Scotch whisky.

Influenced by early twentieth-century mapmaking, it brings together Scotland’s distilling regions in a single considered composition, from the peat and coast of Islay to the breadth of the Highlands and the concentration of Speyside. Distilleries are numbered across the map and indexed around the border, allowing the piece to be read both as a decorative print and as a reference to explore.

Warm in tone and rooted in a vintage atlas aesthetic, it is intended to feel at home in a study, living room, library, or whisky space, something to be framed, lived with, and returned to.
